Chris Malette and Team Carney for the WIN!!
A thank you to all from BQFLA Chair Ken Manderville
Congratulations to Chris Malette on an excellent election campaign and for turning Bay of Quinte red once again! We are so pleased to see Chris join Team Carney and to help make Canada and Bay of Quinte Strong!
I’d also like to thank the Bay of Quinte Federal Liberal Association Board of Directors and the members of Chris’ campaign team, many of whom play both roles, who worked tirelessly to help propel Chris to victory.
Most importantly, I’d like to extend my thanks to you: Bay of Quinte Liberals.
You gave us your vote, your sign request, your donation, and your messages of advice and support. You also offered your talents volunteering to knock on doors, drop off literature, make phone calls, work in the office, enter data, scrutineer, install and collect signs, drive voters to polls, and so much more. You all played a role in Chris’ victory.
Moving forward, please consider continuing to volunteer. There is an ongoing need for phone calling, fundraising, and event planning to keep contact with our supporters to update information and help to increase support and finances.
You might also consider joining a BQFLA committee or joining the Board as a Director.
While we can assume that there will not be another federal election for a couple of years, we cannot know that for sure. It is a minority government after all! Continuing to work during this time will only help us in preparation for the next election.
Ken Manderville,
Chair, Bay of Quinte Federal Liberal Association
